Alden Park

- Restoration Design
- Historic Consulting
Project Description: Ascent staff worked closely with the new owner of this historic apartment complex situated on 38 acres in the Wissahickon section of Philadelphia. As the owners began a $62 million renovation, Ascent staff consulted on the scope of masonry repair, window replacement, historic tax credit approvals, and the development of the in-house construction team. Due to the size and complexity of the masonry restoration, the six-building complex was awarded to three separate masonry sub-contractors and completed on schedule in November 2016.

Plaza Restoration
- Restoration Design
Project Description: Ascent has been retained by a national real estate development firm to design functional, waterproofing and aesthetic improvements to an elevated plaza at the ground floor of their commercial property. The plaza serves as an entry to ground-floor retail. Our team works closely with the owners, management, future tenants and contractor to deliver the project on schedule. This kind of collaborative approach to project delivery is changing the way owners look at renovation projects.
